Marlene Brito-Millán is an Assistant Professor in the School of Environmental Sustainability at Loyola University of Chicago. As an ecologist, her research draws on complex dynamical systems and Indigenous lifeways to understand spatio-temporal dynamics of land- and waterscapes. She founded the Indigenous Ecologies Collaboratory and is a member of CIEJ through which she works to build alternative life-driven futures rooted in radical relationality and grassroots autonomy.
